Hello fellow readers!

My name is Aspen and welcome to Paws & Read!

This blog is dedicated to two of my favorite things: books and cats. Here I will be featuring book reviews of my latest reads. My preferred genre is Young Adult so most of my reviews will be centered around such books. I am currently a graduate student pursuing my Master’s in Library and Information Services; my plan is to become a teen/youth services librarian. I try to branch out from the fantasy and sci-fi genre and read a diversity of books and authors. If you have a recommendation for a book I should review, please feel free to let me know.

The reviews are based entirely on my own opinions and do not reflect the opinions of other readers. I do not currently get paid to review books. But it is my hope that my reviews will be helpful to those interested in reading the same stories I have.
